Crystal Cruises Cancellation and Refund Policy

The following policies shall apply to any and all Crystal Cruises cancellations. You must submit your cancellation in writing to your travel agent and we will then notify Crystal Cruises.  Depending upon when the cruise is canceled, a cancellation charge may apply. We highly recommend Travel Insurance to protect yourself from penalties assessed for canceling due to medical reasons for yourself or family members.

Cancellations for Crystal World Cruise Voyages / Segments of 48 Days or More

All appropriate refunds will be made to the Guest through their travel agent, except for those payments made by credit card, in which case the amount of the refund will be credited directly to the cardholder's account.  Any inquiries about a refund must be made by the Guest to the travel agent.

If cancellation fees are charges by air carriers, pre- or post- cruise land operators, hotels or shore excursion operators, they will be deducted from any refund pursuant to this paragraph.  Crystal Cruises will not be responsible for the receipt of refund monies by the guest, except for those refunds made to the credit card holder's account.   

Change Fees

Changing your itinerary after reservations have been made can result in loss of advantages gained by early planning.  To cover administrative costs, service charges may be assessed if you request a change in your travel arrangements prior to commencement of travel.  This doesn't apply to departure date changes which are subject to the cancellations charges listed above.  Change charges are not assessed for stateroom upgrades or for the addition of services unless air reservations are altered and or travel documents must be reissued.  Changes require the prior approval of Crystal Cruises and may not always be possible. 

Absolutely NO Exceptions will be made on cancellation charges. We highly recommend the purchase of Travel Protection Insurance.
