The River Duchess has joined the Uniworld fleet in June 2003. A sister ship to the magnificent River Empress and River Countess, she will again raise the standard of river cruising in Europe.

Inside the tastefully-decorated staterooms of the River Duchess, you'll find all the amenities and comforts of a fine hotel:

Hotel-style beds which can be positioned separately as two twin beds, or together as one large double bed

Individual air conditioning and heating controls
Private bathroom and shower

River Duchess staterooms are more spacious than those found on ocean-going cruise ships. Outside cabins measure over 154 sq ft, while suites are extra spacious, at 230 sq ft. Cabins on the top deck have floor-to-ceiling windows, while all other staterooms have picture windows. All staterooms are spacious, non-smoking, with panoramic views.

Facilities

All river view staterooms are lavishly appointed with a vanity and make-up mirror, generous built-in closets, a hair dryer, safe, individual air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with thick cotton towels, aromatherapy bath amenities and plush terry cloth robe.
