Cancellation Updates:
Recent updates have been made to cancellation schedules and refund guidelines for various cruise lines. Contact your Sales Agent or our Customer Service department online, via email, or by phone at 1-800-543-1915 and ask about potential opportunities for flexible cancellation policies, rebooking opportunities and other options.
All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing directly to Quark Expeditions or your authorized travel advisor. The effective date of cancellation is defined as the business day on which written notification is received. Because polar expedition logistics require early operational commitments, cancellation charges are assessed based on the advance notice provided prior to Day 1 of the expedition.
Cancellation penalties apply to the total booking amount, including expedition cruise fare, adventure option add-ons (such as kayaking or camping), pre/post-expedition hotel stays, and mandatory charter flight transfer packages. If full payment has not been received at the time of cancellation, the guest remains liable for the full applicable penalty. Purchasing comprehensive travel insurance with cancellation protection is strongly advised for all polar voyages.

Cancellations cannot be processed online. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to your travel advisor or directly to Quark Expeditions during regular business hours.
