![]() Delta Queen Steamboat Company Cancellation and Refund PolicyThe following policies shall apply to any and all Delta Queen Steamboat Company cancellations. You must submit your cancellation in writing to your travel agent and we will then notify Delta Queen Steamboat Company. Depending upon when the cruise is canceled, a cancellation charge may apply. We highly recommend Travel Insurance to protect yourself from penalties assessed for canceling due to medical reasons for yourself or family members.
Given that the resale of canceled space will likely result in a lost opportunity to sell other space, these fees are due regardless of resale. Delta Queen Steamboat Company can only be responsible for refunding amounts actually received by it. Delta Queen Steamboat Company cruise contracts are non-transferable. Name changes and departure date changes are considered reservation cancellation / re-bookings and are subject to cancellation fees. Change FeesChanging your itinerary after reservations have been made can result in loss of advantages gained by early planning. To cover administrative costs, a service charge may be assessed if you request a change in your travel arrangements less than 95 days prior to commencement of travel. This doesn't apply to departure date changes which are subject to the cancellations charges listed above. Change charges are not assessed for stateroom upgrades or for the addition of services unless air reservations are altered and or travel documents must be reissued. Changes require the prior approval of Delta Queen Steamboat Company and may not always be possible. Absolutely NO Exceptions will be made on cancellation charges. We highly recommend the purchase of Travel
