Traveling to Antarctica is unlike any other cruise vacation. On a cheap Antarctica cruise, you'll likely leave from South America and stop at places like the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and Cape Evans. There are no actual ports of call on the continent, so ships anchor at nearby islands and guests are escorted to land on Zodiacs. As only 100 guests are allowed to disembark in Antarctica at a time, your ship's passenger count is likely to be low. Once in Antarctica, you'll get the chance to see a stunning display of wildlife in their natural habitat, including fur seals, penguins, whales, and albatrosses.
