Your day of discovering all things Da Vinci begins as you board the comfortable bus in Civitavecchia for an easy ride to Rome and to your self guided museum tour. You will view along the way the Palace of Justice, Castle San Angel, the Tiber River and finally making your way to admire St. Peter's Basilica.

Right in the middle of one of the most famous streets of Rome and just few steps away from St. Peter's Basilica, there is a unique place created to honor one of the most important Genius' of all time, Leonardo Da Vinci.

In Via della Conciliazione, The Leonardo Da Vinci Museum, is waiting for you the chance to travel back in time through ingenious machines, holograms, codes and manuscripts reproduced exactly as Leonardo thought and designed them. This permanent exhibition has five thematic areas and as you walk from one to another it will be like being in the mind of the Master himself.

From the Room of the Flight and the Last Supper, to the Room of War Machine, the Room of the Perspective and the Room of the Principles you will be able to touch and try with your own hand the reproductions of the 50 innovative machines. Finally, these inventions made according to Leonardo's sketches and faithful reproductions, are on display in an immersive and engaging way that will enable the public to experience a veritable multimedia journey through painting, mechanics, detailed themed projections, holograms and educational audio recordings.

Moreover, in the Room of the Paintings, you will have the chance to see the 22 paintings reunited for the first time and made with the same materials used by the Da Vinci according to the procedures of the time by the famous "Bottega Artigiana Tifernate". These works are all effectively masterpieces that meet the standards of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism. The works on show include: The Mona Lisa, the Lady with an Ermine, Ecce Homo and the two versions of the Virgin of the Rocks, all faithfully recreated in scale 1:1 with the original materials used by the artist.

For the first time in Italy, the museum features a full-size reproduction of the Last Supper, the controversial painting at the center of Dan Brown's novel The Da Vinci Code.

The audio guide provided, available in 7 languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, Chinese) will narrate you through the history of each masterpiece, guiding you along on this special and unique trip through history.
