From here you will next swim with the legendary pink Amazonian river dolphin. These river dolphins only live in freshwater, more precisely in the Amazon and Orinoco river basin in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, and Venezuela. The Amazon River Dolphins are the largest and most widespread freshwater dolphins in the World and are a pink-grey color. They can measure up to 185 kilograms (408 pounds) and 2.5m (8.2 ft) in length. They can turn their head 180 degrees to maneuver better between the obstacles in the water and can live up to 30 years.

Experience Janauari Lake, located in Rio Negro and approximately one-hour away from Manaus. The Lake Janauari Ecological Park spreads through 9,000 hectares of dry-land woods, floodplains, and flooded forests. Continue your journey to take a break for lunch at the Rainha da Selva (Jungle Queen) floating restaurant to sample regional food that may include fish, chicken and salad.

Next you will be off to meet local members of the indigenous Dessanos and Tucanos tribes in their native village. Watch and view the locals go about their daily lives and activities and then pay a visit to a jungle pharmacy and interact with the shaman of the tribe.
