Dolphin Royal Swim and Water Park

After arriving at the Aquaventuras Water Park, check in for an unforgettable family Dolphin Royal Swim. Your program begins with a short orientation led by a professional trainer, where you'll learn about dolphin anatomy, habits, and how they are trained and cared for.

You'll then step onto a submerged platform for the start of your interaction with two dolphins. In waist-deep water, you may experience a variety of close-up behaviors such as a kiss, handshake, heart touch, and the dolphin's signature smile. A professional photographer will be on hand to capture the moment.

After the platform portion, guests will take turns entering deeper water for individual interaction with the dolphins. During this time, the dolphins may swim nearby, splash, vocalize, or respond to hand signals. You may also experience a dorsal swim-by, giving you the chance to see their movement and agility up close.

This experience lasts approximately one hour, with 45 minutes of in-water time. Group size is limited to 10 guests to ensure a more personal and engaging interaction.

A 15-minute sea lion interaction is also included. This fun and educational session allows you to observe and interact with one of the ocean's most playful and curious marine animals.

The cost of the dolphin encounter includes admission to the water park for a totally fun-filled, action-packed day. You may observe someone participating in a dolphin program by paying the admission fee to the park.

Please Note: On the platform, guests will enjoy an educational briefing on dolphin anatomy and habits, including their senses of smell and taste, along with activities such as Dolphin Embrace (touch/hug), Dolphin Sight (vision), and Heart to Heart (soul). In the water, guests will take turns swimming away from the platform for individual interactions where the dolphins may perform Sounds (singing), Splash, and Hand Target. The program lasts approximately 60 minutes, with a maximum of 10 guests per platform and two dolphins. Admission to Aquaventuras Park is included, along with a Meet and Greet with sea lions (out of water) and lunch from the swimmer's menu.

The tour duration reflects the dolphin interaction only. Time spent at the water park is on your own and not included in the listed duration. Transfer time to and from the park is also not included. This tour requires one participating adult for each child participant. Guests ages 60-79 may participate in all dolphin programs provided they are fully independent, have no medical or mobility limitations, and can swim unassisted. Guests ages 80 and over may participate in the Dolphin Encounter only; other interactive dolphin programs are not permitted.
