Private Nice Old Town Walk
After meeting your driver on the pier, set out for the city of Nice. Although Nice was originally a Greek colony, its old town has a very Italian feel from Nice's long past as a part of Italy.
A walking tour of the predominantly pedestrian Old Town begins on the Cours Saleya, where you will discover the location of the famous cut flower market, which is held most mornings. Then wander the maze of narrow streets lined with buildings mostly from the 1700s.
In the upstairs windows, you will see flower boxes on the apartments. On the ground floor, you will find little shops, bistros, markets, bars, and boutiques. Baroque churches and mansions add to the whimsical charm.
During your free time, you can do some souvenir shopping, leisurely wander, or sample one of the local treats before returning to the pier.
This private tour option to beautiful Nice will make for a day you will never forget!
