Hop-on Hop-off Haugesund Highlights Tour

Founded in the 18th century, Haugesund developed through the herring fishing industry and today is known for its maritime heritage, shipbuilding industry, Viking history, and picturesque waterfront. As you travel through the city aboard a modern EURO 6 sightseeing bus, you can enjoy views of the city center, Risoy Bridge, Haugesund City Hall, Haraldshaugen National Monument, Haraldsvang Nature Park, Smedasundet waterfront, Dokken Museum, and the statue of King Harald Fairhair. The tour also includes a photo stop at the famous Haraldshaugen Monument.

Hop off at any stop to independently explore museums, parks, restaurants, shopping streets, and scenic waterfront areas before boarding the next bus to continue your sightseeing adventure.

Your hop-on hop-off ticket gives you the flexibility to explore Bergen at your own pace. Spend as much time as you like at the stops that interest you most, then rejoin the tour when you're ready to continue.

Please Note: The Haugesund Route bus runs every 30 minutes according to cruise ship arrivals. There are 8 stops on the route and it takes approximately 50 minutes to complete the route without getting off. The tours are narrated in Norwegian, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Dutch. First and last tour times vary according to cruise ship schedules and will be detailed in your electronic ticket.
