A Taste of Sorrento from Salerno

Departing Salerno, enjoy sweeping views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the dramatic coastline of southern Italy. Along the scenic drive toward Sorrento, your driver will pause at select viewpoints for photos of the coastline and surrounding landscapes.

Before reaching town, visit a local Limoncello producer overlooking the coast. Learn how this traditional Campania liqueur is made, sample different varieties, and discover one of the region's most beloved specialties.

Continuing past the towns of Meta, Piano di Sorrento, and Sant'Agnello, arrive in the heart of Sorrento, where you'll have free time to explore after drop-off at the main square (or closest accessible point). Wander historic streets, browse artisan shops, visit churches and panoramic gardens, enjoy a coffee, or shop for ceramics and Sorrento's signature wood-inlay craft, intarsio.

At the designated time, meet your driver and continue to a nearby family-run farm overlooking the sea for an authentic Neapolitan lunch. This traditional working farm reflects the region's agricultural heritage and is known for mozzarella production. Enjoy a live cheesemaking demonstration, then stroll among lemon and olive trees, grazing cows, and Mediterranean plants before sitting down to a farm-to-table meal made entirely from onsite ingredients.

The meal features fresh mozzarella, salami, prosciutto, olives, and marinated vegetables, followed by pasta with tomatoes and ricotta. Dessert is homemade lemon cake, served with house wine and Limoncello. You'll also have the option to purchase or arrange shipment of the farm's products, including marmalades and Limoncello.

After bidding the family arrivederci, relax on the coastal return to Salerno, arriving at the port with ample time before your ship's departure.
