P&O Cruises Smoking Policy
For the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all guests, and in view of the UK legislation banning smoking in public spaces, P&O Cruises policy on smoking onboard is as follows:
Smoking is not permitted in cabins, on cabin balconies or in public rooms, but will be permitted in designated areas of the open deck.
Electronic cigarettes, including those which do not emit smoke, can be used in designated smoking areas only.
Designated Smoking Areas on P&O Cruise Ships
Adonia
- Deck 9 Lido Deck - Starboard Side Forward (Open deck)
- Deck 5 Promenade Deck - Starboard Side
Arcadia
- Deck 11 Sky Deck - Port side, outside the East bar
- Deck 10 Sun Deck - Port side, outside the Retreat bar
- Deck 9 Lido Deck - Port side, table area of Aquarius bar
- Deck 3 Promenade Deck - Starboard side of Promenade deck
Aurora
- Deck 12 (Lido Deck) - Port Side Forward
- Deck 7 - (Prom Deck) Port side all along the Promenade deck (this area can be closed when bunkering)
Azura
- Breakers Bar deck 16, Terrace Bar deck 15, Coral pool deck 15, deck 7 Starboard side
Britannia
- Deck 16 Aft port side near the Sunset Bar area
- Deck 7 Aft port side near the Live lounge area outside
- Deck 7 Aft mid ship out side Java area
Oceania
- Deck 12 (Lido Deck) - Port side forward.
- Deck 15 (Sky Deck) - Port side forward by the Pennant Bar
- Deck 7 Port side all along the Promenade deck (this area can be closed when bunkering)
Oriana
- Decks 9, 10 and 11 Starboard Aft
- Deck 12 - Port side, forward until midships (from Riviera bar)
- Deck 7 - open promenade deck, Starboard side
Ventura
- Deck 15 (Lido Deck) - Starboard forward
- Deck 7 (Promenade Deck) - Starboard side of Prom Deck
All smoking areas will be sign posted as designated smoking areas. It is prohibited to throw cigarette ends or flick ash over the ship's side because they can be drawn back into the ship and cause a fire hazard. Please use the receptacles and ashtrays provided and ensure that smoking materials are fully extinguished.
