Recent updates have been made to cancellation schedules and refund guidelines for various cruise lines. Contact your Sales Agent or our Customer Service department online, via email, or by phone at 1-800-543-1915 and ask about potential opportunities for flexible cancellation policies, rebooking opportunities and other options.
American Cruise Lines' 24-hour Cancellation Policy
American Cruise Lines' 24-hour cancellation policy allows you to reserve your cruise knowing that if you change your mind within 24 hours you will receive a 100% refund. Cancellation requests must be received within 24 hours of initial payment. After 24 hours cancellation charges apply.

Passengers may cancel cruise reservations by submitting a written request via American Cruise Lines' online Cancellation Form or by emailing Reservations@AmericanCruiseLines.com. In the event of cancellation, the total amount paid for fare, minus cancellation fees of $250 per passenger, will be promptly refunded based on the date of receipt by American Cruise Lines, Inc. of the written request for cancellation.

The cancellation fees of $250 per passenger may be applied as a courtesy discount toward fare for a future cruise reserved with American Cruise Lines, Inc. within one year of the cancellation date.
Effective today, July 1, 2026, the following changes apply:
- Final payment is now due 120 days prior to departure (previously 90 days).
- Reservations made within 120 days of departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Standard cancellation terms have been updated to align with the new 120 day final payment policy.
Please note the following exceptions:
- Reservations for 2026 departures that were booked before July 1, 2026, will remain subject to the final payment and cancellation terms in effect at the time of booking.
- All departures in 2027 and beyond, regardless of booking date, are subject to the updated final payment and cancellation policies.
