Can the ship be contacted by telephone?
The ship is equipped with a satellite telephone system. Calls can be made to the ship from land, and the operator will then pass the call to the requested person.
When the ship is sailing, your cell phone will connect to the 3G GSM on board and will display the name of the ship, 901.12 or TELENOR MARITIME / MCP (for MCP). In this way, you can make calls or send SMS via maritime roaming. The GSM switches off automatically when the ship enters a port.
